Lake Tahoe Spring Prescribed Fire Operations Continue

If conditions and weather are favorable, the Tahoe Fire & Fuels Team will continue prescribed burning this week at Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District, the Nevada Division of Forestry and the USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit will burn piles on the East Shore and Kingsbury Grade to reduce excess vegetation (fuels) that can feed unwanted wildfires.

Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District and the USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit will burn piles on the East Shore and Kingsbury Grade to reduce excess vegetation (fuels) that can feed unwanted wildfires.
