2026 Placer County Classified School Employees of the Year Announced

ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) - Placer County Superintendent of Schools Gayle Garbolino-Mojica is pleased to announce the following 2026 Placer County Classified School Employees of the Year: Pam Cano (Clerical & Administrative Services, Rocklin Unified School District), Angel Betancourt (Custodial & Maintenance Services, Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District), Hortencia Paniagua (Food & Nutrition Services, Tahoe-Truckee Unified School District), Linda Brown (Health & Student Services, Rocklin Unified School District), Misty Taft (Paraeducator Services, Roseville City School District), Frances Arellano (Security Services, Rocklin Academy Family of Schools), Trinidad Garcia (Skilled Trade Services, Placer Union High School District), Louis Marston (Technical Services, Placer Union High School District) and Courtney McBride (Transportation Services, Placer Hills Union School District).

This year, 66 classified school employees from across the county were nominated from their respective districts and charter school systems in nine categories. Nominees were judged on work performance, school community involvement, leadership and commitment.
