Placer Community Foundation was proud to launch BIG Day of Giving for nonprofits in Placer County. Over the past 3 years the 24-hour online giving challenge has been a tremendous success.

Approximately 100 organizations in Placer County participated each year, raising a combined $2.2 million! This tells us our local nonprofit community has taken this event full throttle. Public awareness has increased and they continue to demonstrate great momentum in raising much needed funds to support their work in our community.

Now that this has become an annual, regional event, we will unwind our investment in BIG Day of Giving and turn our resources and attention to other needs in the community. This includes our mission to increase local philanthropy with endowed gifts made through estate plans. We will also continue our 10-year history of providing local nonprofits with annual training and workshops; adding value to your investment in their missions.
